Luxon Nexus Bar Mounts - Gas Gas, Husqvarna, KTM, Triumph & Stark Varg
Nexus Bar Mounts, KTM Cone Interface
Nexus is the ultimate, comfort oriented, high-performance bar mount. These mounts fully isolate the handlebar from the triple clamp with highly developed elastomer sets, absorbing roughness and vibration from the track or trail, without a loss of steering precision, and eliminating twisting in small crashes and tip-overs.
This mount is a must for off-road and enduro, but also works great for motocross, vet riders, and riders with hand and wrist injuries. The unique, patent pending design, is much lighter, more versatile, simpler, and less expensive than competing products. Three bushing sets (soft, medium, and firm) are included to tune the feel.
These bar mounts fit stock KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Triumph, and Stark Varg triple clamps with the KTM cone interface. Please read below for exact fitment details.
Fitment
See images for KTM Cone interface;
The KTM Cone interface is a tapered cone shaped hole on the top and bottom of the triple clamp (a cross section would look like an hour glass). The 2023+ version is identical to the 2016-2022 version, except it includes a counterbore for a flange on the top. Luxon bar mounts fit either version: they do not interface with the flange cutout, but rather the cone surface as it is more accurately machined and stronger. Triumph clamps use the same 2016-2022 KTM cone interface, though it is raised 5 mm above the top clamp surface. Stark Varg clamps also use the same 2016-2022 KTM cone interface.
Bar Size
The Nexus bar mounts fit standard 1 1/8" handlebars only (the most common size). Sorry, we do not offer the Nexus bar mounts in the FB36 (36 mm) size or the older 7/8" bar size.
Bar Position
Nexus mounts are the stock KTM height of 25 mm (bottom of bar to top of triple clamp) and offset (7 mm of bar position change when flipping the mounts around). This is the same as the Stark Varg. They are also the stock Triumph height of 30 mm (bottom of bar to top of triple clamp, including the 5 mm step in the triple clamp), but have slightly less throw front to back (7 mm vs. 9 mm with the stock Triumph).
Bike Fitment:
These mounts fit stock triple clamps with the KTM rubber cone interface, which includes many KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Triumph, and Stark Varg models, and all Luxon Gen2 triple clamps. Luxon mounts fit most bikes without issue, but in some cases, you may need to trim plastic brackets or relocate hour meters or accessories to allow clearance in the extreme mounting positions. Always check for full clearance after installation and before riding.
Most standard bar pads will fit with some trimming around the bar mount area. A Dremel tool with a sanding drum makes this easy, but a razor blade can be used as well.
An alignment tool is available here to ease installation and ensure correct alignment of the bar mount bases in the triple clamp. This tool is NOT required for installation, but makes the process a little easier and foolproof.
Stark Varg:
Nexus mount fitment on the Stark Vark requires relocating the phone; the phone cradle will not fit the Nexus bar mounts.
These bar mounts fit nearly all KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas big bikes, 2024 and newer. They also fit many older KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas big bikes, as well as Triumph and Stark Future bikes. The list below includes bikes that our mounts should fit; there may be more bikes not listed that our mounts will fit too. While the list is accurate as far as we know, mistakes can happen! Please double check that your bike has an KTM Cone.

Description
Luxon patent pending Nexus bar mounts are lighter, simpler, more versatile, and less expensive than competing products and setups. These mounts are 25% lighter and nearly 20% less expensive than the comparable XC Gear Mako360 bar mount, but have increased steering precision and mounting versatility.
When compared to a Flexx handlebar setup, the Nexus bar mounts save nearly two pounds (832 g) at 11% lower cost (solid bar mounts with Flexx bars vs. Nexus bar mounts with Pro Taper Evo bars).
The Nexus bar mount system includes rubber bushings, bar clamps, bases, caps, high-strength steel mount and pinch bolts, cones, and anti-seize.
Three different hardness levels of bushings are included at no additional cost. Bushing hardness is a compromise between comfort (soft) and steering precision (firm). Like all rubber bushings, these are wear items and will eventually break down and need replacing. Softer bushings will need to be replaced more often than harder bushings and are more susceptible to crash damage. Replacement bushings are available for a reasonable cost.
Soft (Green)
Soft bushings are for less aggressive or lighter weight riders.Medium (Yellow)
Medium Bushings are a good starting point and will be preferred by most novice or vet riders.Firm (Red)
Firm bushings are a good choice for faster and more aggressive riders. It is also possible to mix a harder bushing on top with a softer bushing on the bottom (do not mix softer on top than bottom).
